Prior to establishing Reality Telecom plc, Chief Executive Simon Slater-Thomas founded Redstone Communications plc. Whilst at Redstone, he introduced one of the UK’s first Personal Numbering services, CallSure, which went on to become the largest service of its type in the UK and one of the largest in Europe.

Slater-Thomas also trialled Europe’s first IP-based centrex service and Redstone’s successful flotation in 1999 was, in part, based on an understanding of how IP-based hosted telephony services could become the norm for businesses.

After establishing Reality in 2001, Slater-Thomas built on this understanding of how technology can meet the needs of businesses and developed Call Navigator™ an automated inbound call handling system designed specifically to meet the business needs of the small and medium sized enterprises.

With the advent of high-quality, high-bandwidth broadband connectivity, the emergence of routers that “understand” Voice over IP (VoIP) and the availability of business-quality VoIP handsets, it was clear that all the technological barriers to the introduction of hosted VoIP services had been removed by late 2005. In early 2006, Reality introduced Call Navigator IP™, a VoIP enabled version of its highly successful Call Navigator™ product.

Call Navigator IP™ can work alongside an existing telephony infrastructure, allowing traditional PBXs and modern IP-PBXs to integrate with smaller offices or home workers where installation of dedicated equipment would not be cost-effective and can integrate all the users into a single seamless whole. In many cases, Call Navigator IP™ can act as a complete replacement for a PBX or key system.

Regardless of the architecture chosen, users of Call Navigator IP™ benefit from a wide range of features which address real business needs. This is the reason why many people regard Call Navigator IP™ as one of the most interesting products in the burgeoning VoIP market.

Why choose Call Navigator IP™? Because we have supplied thousands of satisfied customers for many years.
